Now we study about "Hydraulic Pump"8) Fault :- Bearing failure.
Probable causes and Remidial action.1. Chips or other contaminants in bearing.
=> Replace bearings and check intrusion of contaminants.
2. Coupling misaligned.
=> Align prime mover shaft and pump.
3. Inadequate lubrication.
=> Lubricate system properly.
4. Pump running too fast.
=> Adjust speed of prime mover.
5. Excessive or shock loads. (Excessive loads due to operating pressure may damage the bearing).
=> Reduce operating pressure.
